Australian Grants Link GrantsLINK makes it easier to find suitable and relevant grants for your community projects from the many Australian government grants that are available.
Assistance to Non-Government Schools Recurrent grants and recurrent and/or one off loans are made available from the State Government to strengthen non- government education, by assisting non-government schools and independent pre-schools to provide their students with access to quality education. spx?ItemID=6E796A516D61566D6E62513D

New Patissier (Pastry Chef) Apprenticeship A new Patissier (Pastry Chef) Apprenticeship was established in 2010, linked to the qualification Certificate III in Hospitality (Patisserie). Hospitality School-based Traineeships FutureNow has recently submitted a proposal to the State Training Board regarding a variation to the Nominal Term of School-based Traineeships linked to a Certificate II in Hospitality or Certificate II in Hospitality (Kitchen Operations). The variation proposed is a change from 14 months (part time) to 18 months (part time) to allow students more time to complete the qualification and increase industry access to trainees/employees in this skill shortage area. Results of this proposal mid April 2011.
VET Policy Changes for Student School-based Traineeship Progressions School-based traineeship progression to higher level traineeships require Special Approval from Training Councils if the traineeship is not already endorsed as eligible for school- based traineeships on the WA Apprenticeships and WA Traineeships Lists.
