Emergency Management Unit  Provincial assistance is deployed only upon request of a Municipality;  The municipal Community Emergency Management Coordinator can request assistance from the Provincial Emergency Operations Centre  A municipality cannot directly request federal assistance, but;  The Province can go to the Federal level to get that assistance for a municipality In very rare circumstances, will the province come in and direct the response.
