Provincial Wellness Strategy Launched by Department of Healthy and Inclusive Communities in 2006 Evaluation done and currently in a process of renewal Community of Practice framework based on this Strategy 2

The Wellness Movement is about… Building a wellness culture in New Brunswick Encouraging communities, groups, schools and workplaces to make commitments towards their individual and collective wellness Telling our NB wellness stories!
WHO IS INVOLVED? 22 community wellness networks and 6 provincial partners including our Community of Practice
OBJECTIVES for common interest partners 1,791 community groups, schools and workplaces 15 common interest partners 350 community groups, schools and workplaces
WELLNESS WEEK KICK OFF Wellness Week - October 1-7 th Workplaces, schools and communities across the province host activities to celebrate and promote wellness 139 activities registered at wellnessnb.ca this year Marks kick off to the Wellness Movement each year
WORKPLACES Success story: NB Workplace Wellness Community of Practice Take 5! online challenge launched October 1 Make a commitment to complete an activity in 4 pillar areas and 1 of choice. Submit with photos and details.

You are already a champion of wellness Be a champion the Workplace Wellness Movement! –Join Take 5! at wellnessnb.ca and make your Wellness Commitments –Share the invitation with your employees, regional offices, partners –Participate in other activities of our Workplace Wellness Community of Practice
