Who Am I? Unit 4 The Cell and Microscope
Who Am I? I am the powerhouse of the cell. I am in the shape of a bean.
Who Am I? I am the part of the cell illustrated below.
Who Am I? I am used for extra protection around the cell. I am only found in a plant cell.
Who Am I? I contain chlorophyll and my microscope view is shown below.
Who Am I? My role is for extra storage of food and even waste. I am usually a little larger in plant cells than animal cells.
Who Am I? I am found in BOTH an animal cell and a plant cell. I am represented by the arrow below…..
Who Am I? I am the transporter of oxygen and other essential components throughout the cell. I am not very rigid.
Who Am I? The part of microscope that you look through to “see” the field of view.
Who Am I? The parts of the microscope shown below. A B
Who Am I? The “button” that moves the stage up and down.
Who Am I? Number 3 on the diagram below.
Who Am I? The part of the microscope shown below.

Cell and Their Organelles
Plants vs. Animal Cells Mr. Ellis. Do Now What do you think is the most important organelle? Why, please explain your answer using science!
What is an Organism? Definition:
ANIMAL AND PLANT CELLS CELLS – The building blocks of all living things. Only visible with a microscope!
Cell Jeopardy Directions In Jeopardy, remember the answer is in the form of a question. Select a question by clicking on it. After reading the question.
