14 14 Business School Your first year programme (1)  A minimum of 8 modules this year – over both Fields 4 modules each semester First year focus on business plus space to include something totally different e.g. learn/continue a language (French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese for Beginners)  Remember - your results are important

15 15 Business School Your first year programme (2)  U51002 Foundations of Business (if without Business A level), Semester 1  U51000 Critical Thinking in Business Semester 1 for those with A level Business Semester 2 for those without A level Business  U51001 Key Business Competences, Semester 1 or 2  U51013 Economics in Context, Semester 1 or 2  U50012 Accounting for Buisness, Semester 1 or 2

16 16 Business School Your first year programme (3)  International & EU students – we recommend you include U95002 Overseas Student programme specifically designed for Business School students (please collect a leaflet) U70910 Academic Writing for Business  Both should be on your timetable
