Set up a Community Safety Unit Driven by SPS Anti-violence Strategy Underpinned by the 16 National Outcomes Change of Name Staffing: 1 Manager and 2 Officers Partnership working: Youth Group Barnardos, VRU, MAV, Respect Me, SFRS…. Tackling violence and conflict within the Prison Educating and developing coping skills for alternatives to violence

9 Successful Learners, Confident Individuals, Responsible Citizens, Effective Contributors What is HMYOI Polmont doing to implement Restorative Practices? 2006 Partnership agreement with SACRO 2013 refresher training in Restorative conversations & meetings 22 Staff trained to date 12 Staff due to complete in March staff due to complete Training for trainers in Restorative conversations in April 2014 From December cases out to referral for RJ Meetings 14 cases completed 8 successful 4 Not suitable 2 Liberated
