10 DESIGN/PLANNING What do I want the children to learn? –Not to give out personal details –That people are not always who they seem –CEOPS icons are there for you –Turn the computer off if you feel in trouble

11 My Game Maze Game –Baddies turn from children into “bad” people after a certain amount of time –A race to grab the name and address –CEOPS icons are rewards –Turning off the computer to level up

12 Design Create a DETAILED design of your game (don’t worry if you make changes when you start to make your game – these changes are perfect to mention in your evaluation) Include: Type of game (maze/platform etc) Sprites that you will use Objects you will need Rooms How do you collect points? How do you win the game? How do you Lose/Receive damage

13 Planning Plan what you are going to do when, use a Gaant chart: TIME (HRS) 123456789 TASK DESIGN BUILD SPRITES

14 SUCCESS CRITERIA List what your game should do: –The game has a set of instructions at the beginning –The game allows you to use the arrow keys to move your sprite –If you run over a start you collect 5 points –If you hit a monster you loose a life –………………

15 Implementation Screen Shots of how you created your game and a brief description for each

16 Testing A table (Or List) to describe each test that you will do A screen shot of you testing your game A description of the result – It Worked! Or I had to fix it by…..

17 Evaluation Use your list of success criteria to provide your evaluation What went well? What could you not achieve? What would you like to do if you had more time? What improvements would you like to have made?
