6Block Scheduling Reminders… ClassOf2018Block Scheduling Reminders…With an 18-week (1 semester) course, students who get behind in their studies often have a “false security” that they still have time to pull it up in time to pass. The grading period is cumulative for the semester. This is vastly different from the middle school 9-week grading period.Attendance is critical on the block schedule. When students are absent, they miss more material than on a traditional schedule.
