9 Similar industries group together as in Motorsport valley in Oxfordshire as they have a skilled workforce and drivers/engineers can use the airports at Coventry for global transfers. There are 2,200 related businesses ( Mercedes, Aston Martin) in research, design and development and event organisation with 40, 000 employed. 17 Why move to India? There are jobs in Bangalore and Mumbaii as the operating costs are lower as the wage bill is less. In the UK average wage is £200 weekly compared to £40 in India. Also the Indian workers are well educated to degree level and are fluent in English. They are prepared to work unsocial hours and there is low staff turnover. Global communications with the internet are fast and efficient
