The project consists in developing and installing new means and methods, specifics of low frequency (decameter) radio astronomy by using the world largest (European), low frequency radio telescopes UTR-2, URAN1 … URAN4, SURA, and Nançay Decameter Array. Kurdyumov Institute for Metal Physics - Kyiv CNRS: Laboratory for Lasers, Plasmas and Photonic Processes, Marseille Objectives The aim of the Project is to study formation of nanosize particles based on powerful pulsed heating of condensed matter by means of pulsed laser ablation (PLA) and electrical wire explosion (EWE). These two methods of nanoparticle synthesis have a unified physical nature lying in superheating of matter to a metastable state with subsequent explosive decomposition (phase explosion) into a mixture of vapor and nanoscale particles. It could address many issues arising in geophysics, underground hydraulic and gas dynamics, petroleum and gas production, medicine and glaciology, described mathematically by similar problem statements. Such study of dynamics of solids in fluid should play an important role in a successful application of modelling in designing aircrafts and various hydrodynamics devices. The cytotoxicity and antitumour activity of these new compounds will be determined. Bogomoletz Institute of Physiology - Kyiv CNRS: Institut de Génomique Fonctionnelle, Universités de Montpellier Objectives The main objective of the proposal is to find evidence for either common or selective modification in T- and N-type VOCC function in central DH and DRG nociceptive neurones taking place in different pain models and associate them with neuronal network malfunction and certain behavioural abnormalities. It is expected that this insight should have an important impact on the design of novel analgesic therapies. Capability to establish differences between normal and tumor cells will be instrumental for cloning cancer-causing genes and for early diagnosis and prevention of cancer. The project specific objectives are: –To investigate theoretically and numerically effect of bound harmonics on surface waves in the context of sea surface remote sensing. –To investigate theoretically and in laboratory studies effect of bound waves on scattering of light, radio and acoustic waves by sea surface. –To develop experimental tools and methods of data processing for adequate treatment of the effect of bound harmonics in remote sensing. The project specific objectives are: –To investigate theoretically and numerically effect of bound harmonics on surface waves in the context of sea surface remote sensing. –To investigate theoretically and in laboratory studies effect of bound waves on scattering of light, radio and acoustic waves by sea surface. –To develop experimental tools and methods of data processing for adequate treatment of the effect of bound harmonics in remote sensing.

The results of the project have a significant potential for application within linguistics, anthropology, psychology, sociology, history, philosophy, cultural studies, computer studies, medical diagnostics and theater actor training.
