6 4/27/2005Accounting Organizational PlanPage 6 Organizational Description Organization is in a state of transition – –General Ledger Implementation of One World GL allowed transition of the monthly Masco reporting from Texas to Adrian Have downsized 2 in group since 1/1/05 Need to strengthen team in Adrian to allow for more transition Long term will have minimal GL functions in Texas – –Accounts Payable Merillat A/P is decentralized, while Quality is centralized in Texas Implementation of One World A/P in process – anticipate 8/1/2005 “go live” Evaluating a centralized approach for the BCG after implementation – Texas may be a viable location for this function

7 4/27/2005Accounting Organizational PlanPage 7 Organizational Description (continued) – –Payroll Merillat is on Peoplesoft and has many functions performed remotely. Quality is performed in house and is centralized in Texas. Peoplesoft will be implemented in Texas – anticipate 1/1/2006 “go live” Core functions will be centralized in Adrian after implementation Some remote functions for hourly payroll will remain in Texas – linked to HR activities – –Billing Merillat Billing is centralized in Adrian. Quality has the billing section decentralized and owned by individual locations Implementation of One World Invoicing will allow us to rethink the structure to consider centralization – anticipate 1/1/2006 “go live”
