You are tardy if I did not shake your hand at the door. Forgotten pencil: You can borrow one of mine. Please put it back in the cup when you leave. Sharpen a pencil: If you need to sharpen your pencil hold it up and I’ll bring you another.

17 How is this class different from other classes?  Foreign language is highly interactive  Studies show that students learn quickest and remember more from attaching movement to vocabulary  You will be talking to classmates, playing games, singing songs, and moving around the room more than in other classes

18 What’s next?  This class will prepare you for 7 th grade Spanish and high school Spanish  By the end of this class, you will be able to  Introduce yourself to a Spanish speaker  Say where you’re from  Talk about what you’re interested in  Know the days of the week and months  Describe the weather  Talk about Spanish speaking countries, customs, holidays, and music  And so so much more!!  #11

19 What are my goals?  Our goal as a class is to get an 80% or better on the final exam  To be prepared and confident for Spanish 2

I’ve already got a warning and a minus 1 for talking, but maybe if I just whisper one more time… Scenario 4- “I absolutely MUST go to the bathroom right now!! AHHHH!!!” Scenario 5- “OH NO! My little brother ate my homework!”
