Agenda Introduction Project Champion System Differences New Modules Hardware Requirements Hardware Diagram Implementation Process Data Conversion Preparing for Spectrum NG Questions and Answers

Introduction Spectrum NG –Multi-tier, Scalable, Multi-site application –Microsoft.Net and SQL 2005 64-bit technology Hosted vs. Deployed

You Need A Champion A Project Manager who will take charge of all communication and tasks. Someone who will work through solutions to implementation scenarios, issues. Someone to be responsible at the facility to make sure all transitions operate smoothly, and who has the authority to do so as well. Someone who can coordinate the training dates and onsite consultations.

System Differences Single Application Shortcut Automatic Updates PCI Compliance Dynamically Created Menus No A/P – G/L Module No Tejas Module –Do have Grill Mode and Open Ticket, however No Fitness Module

New Modules Event Manager POS Blind Close Case Management Member Card Designer Query Builder Application Programmer Interfaces

Hardware Requirements (Hosted) Workstations –.Net Framework 2.0 –1.3 Ghz Processors –256MB RAM –9GB Free Hard Drive Space –Windows XP Professional with latest Service Packs or Windows Vista or Windows 7 Bandwidth –Minimum of 768 Kbps

Hardware Requirements (Deployed) Workstations –Same as Hosted Bandwidth (to servers) –Same as Hosted Application Server –Windows Server 2003 (32 bit) –.Net Framework 2.0 with all service packs –Dual 1 GHz Pentium PIII Xeon Processors/Single 2.8 GHz Pentium Processor or equivalent –1GB ECC RAM –36GB Free HD Space

Hardware Requirements (Deployed) Database Server –Recommend different box than Application Server –Windows Server 2003 (32 or 64 bit) –.Net Framework 2.0 with all service packs –Dual 1 GHz Pentium PIII Xeon Processors/Single 2.8 GHz Pentium Processor or equivalent –1GB ECC RAM –Level 1 RAID with 2 36GB Hard Drives (SCSI) (OS and SQL Transaction Logs) –Level 5 RAID with 3 36GB Hard Drives (SCSI) (SQL Database) –MS SQL Server 2005 Client Licenses (or Processer License if > 25 users)

Implementation Process Contact Toni Grafner or Randy Cruz for a proposal Agree to proposal Larry Rook will contact you to start the process –He will schedule your on- site training & conversion We recommend a minimum of 4-5 on-site training days –He will work with you on your custom contract & G/L Interface

Implementation Process Continued Consultant On-Site –Training on Administrative Setup –Training on basic procedures –Converted data will be imported –Assists in the Go-Live

Data Conversion Nearly everything can be converted Cannot convert: –G/L Transactions –Tejas Setups –Lockers (Locker Assingments can convert if you use the same locker #s) –Scheduler/Spa/Facility (yet)

Data Cleanup Here’s your chance to clean up unwanted data. Before the data conversion, make sure all: –Terminated employees are labeled so. –Unused products are labeled Inactive. –Inactive members are labeled as such. –Old membership types have no members tied to them. Make a list of the areas that you want to have deleted and let CSI know about it.

Preparing for Spectrum NG Implement new AP/GL Package Ensure that your CC Merchant Account is with one of the following: –VISANET/VITAL –NOVA –Paymentech Tampa –First Data North/CardNet

Credit Card Processing SpectrumNG uses RiTA software to send CC transactions to your processor. If you are not currently setup for RiTA, then it is necessary to change. Speak with your Merchant Provider, inform them of the move to a new software. Your Merchant Provider will generate a setup form for you with one of the 4 processors supported by SpectrumNG.

Credit Card Processing Submit the setup form to CSI –Larry Rook, Implementation Mgr Once CSI receives it there is a 2-week processing time. CSI will respond with your Merchant Number and RiTA ID Number, and instructions to put in SpectrumNG. Remove and reattach the credit card payment types to ensure the transactions are going to the right bank, then reset Payment Shortcut Keys. Perform a $.01 test transaction to verify everything is working.
