Infection is what happens when germs enter the body, multiply, and cause harm or illness. Infections that develop in people who have cancer or are getting cancer treatment can be more serious than those in people who are otherwise healthy. Infections are caused by microorganisms such as viruses, prions, bacteria, and larger organisms like fungi.
Many fungal infections, of humans and animals affect only the outer layers of skin, and although they are sometimes difficult to cure, they are not considered dangerous.
A infection can travel with in seconds to another human body leaving it with a new starting point of a new incoming infection.

What are germs? Germs are tiny organisms that creep into our bodies and attack our immune system. Some bacteria are good for our bodies -they help keep the digestive system in working order and keep harmful bacteria from moving in. Some bacteria are used to produce medicines and Vaccines. The four major types of germs are: bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. They can invade plants, animals, and people, and sometimes they make us sick.
