12 Our work involves: supporting parents to help their children learn increasing parent and child interaction time supporting parents with poor literacy skills and/or little or no formal education encouraging the notion of lifelong learning preparing a knowledge-based web-site including support and discussion forum organizing initial questionnaire for the targeted pupils and parents workshop & seminar for the parents and students

14 / National Education Directorate of Aydın Province is an organisation which monitors, councils and evaluates all the public and private educational institutions in Aydın. Our institution gives these services to 486 Primary Schools, 95 Secondary Schools (General and Vocational), 13 Vocational Education Institutions, 17 Public Education Centres and 160 Private Educational Intuitions. Within these institutions there are 918 Administrative Personnel (Headmasters and Deputy Headmasters), 8381 Teachers, 363 Civil Servants and Students.
