REGION V Research Promotion Highlights $ 1,573,301 in Research Projects are being conducted or are ongoing in Region V Largest Research Project Ever Awarded is being conducted in Region V 1262-RP $ 980,952 Relate Air Quality and other Factors to Comfort and Health related Symptoms Reported by Passengers and Crew on Commercial Transportation Aircraft

REGION V Research Promotion Challenges Region V as a whole was almost beat by a Chapter in Oklahoma Poor Image among other Regions % of $$ spent in Region V on Research $$ per member Our goals have remained the same for 3 years while % of goal met has declined Other Regions have raised goals and all but 2 exceeded % of goal met.

REGION V Research Promotion Suggestions & Innovations Each Chapter to hold a fundraising event targeting companies outside the membership Schedule a calling campaign – they really work! Increased communication with other chapters to share best practices and successes ASHRAE Research PowerPoint & Brochures ASHRAE Research phone scripting for Industry calling campaigns
