IN SPAIN THERE ARE 3 TYPES OF WEDDINGS. CATHOLIC WEDDINGS. GYPSY WEDDINGS. CIVIL WEDDINGS.
MAIDS OF HONOR THEY ARE ALWAYS CHILDREN OF THE BRIDE AND GOOM’S FAMILY.
RELIGIOUS CEREMONY THE GROOM MUST ARRIVE TWENTY MINUTES BEFORE THE BRIDE. THE BRIDE MUST ARRIVE FIVE MINUTES LATER. THE GODMOTHER USED TO BE THE GROOM’S MOTHER OR SISTER. THE GODFATHER USED TO BE THE BRIDE’S FATHER OR BROTHER.
THROW RICE TO THE BRIDEGROOM SYMBOLIZES FERTILITY AND GOOD LUCK.
