1 Matthew 8: 23-27

2 Jesus and his disciples got into a boat. They were going to cross the sea.

3 Jesus took a nap The sea was calm. The waves rocked the boat back and forth gently as Jesus slept.

4 Suddenly a storm came up. The disciples were worried. Waves were crashing against the boat and the wind was howling.

5 The disciples woke Jesus up. They thought the boat was going to sink.

6 Jesus was not afraid. He told the disciples to have faith in God. Then Jesus stood up and told the storm to stop. The water was immediately calm.

7 The disciples were amazed. Jesus was so special that even the wind and waves obeyed him!
