Develop systems based on our existing database of all schools, Make use of current software to collect data as required Use our partnerships with schools and others to achieve an accurate picture of what is actually happening in our city and its schools. We will use data to inform our planning to continually improve musical opportunities for all our children and young people.
Secondary and Primary Consultants liaise with all schools to forge stronger links with key personnel Dave Perrett (Secondary Consultant) and Jessica Rowe (Primary Consultant) strengthening the team to support the hub and schools to deliver the National Plan for Music Education and the National Curriculum for Music.
We will be looking to engage those schools that are not, for whatever reason, engaged with the hub. Prioritise those schools with which to hold in- depth conversations facilitating school to school support and schedule accordingly
Embed conversations with schools in our planning to review music curriculum and teaching with each school and provide guidance and support where improvement is needed. Hub Managers, Secondary and Primary Music Consultants will work with schools and other organisations to provide relevant, focussed and essential CPD for all teachers and music leaders in the city. Include CPD for schools in First Access, progression beyond and curriculum extension projects
