Algebra is an important branch of mathematics it is used in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics and Statistics these days. The Muslim mathematician did the spade work on this branch.

ADDITION OF POLYNOMIAL EXPRESSION
EXAMPLE :- Subtract a ³-3a²b+3ab²-b³ from a³+3a²b-3ab²+b³ SOLUTION:- a³+3a² b-3ab²+b³ +a³-3a² b+3ab²-b³ - + - + 6a ²b-6ab²+2b³
=(a ³+3a²b-3ab²+b³) – (a³-3a²b+3ab²-b³) = a³+3a²b-3ab²+b³-a³+3a²b-3ab²+b³ = a³-a³+3a²b+3a²b-3ab²-3ab²+b³+b³ = 6a²b-6ab²+2b³
Find the product of (x+3) (3x ²+2x-6) Vertical form Solution: 3x²+2x – 6 x x +3 3x³+2x² - 6x +9x²+6x – 18 3x³+11x² - 18 or 3x³+11x² - 18
Example: Divide x ²-5x+6 by x-2
