God is the well of salvation for us today (Isa. 12:3-4; 58:11-12; Zech. 13:1; Jn. 4:10,14; 7:37-39; Rev. 22:17) Some do not want the waters of salvation from God (Jer. 2:13), but for those who do, they must seek it (Jer. 6:16)
Modern examples: Denominationalism stops the well (Ac. 2:47) World religions stop the well (Jn. 14:6; Ac. 4:12) Unfaithful preaching stops the well (2 Tim. 4:2-4) Worldly living stops the well (Lk. 8:13) C. of C. liberalism stops the well (Col. 3:17)
Every generation has those enemies who will stop the well of salvation Every generation has those faithful servants who will re-dig the well of salvation Will you do the work it takes to re-dig the wells? Well restoration takes work & commitment Well maintenance takes work & commitment
