5FormationWhen dancing you need a partner.Your partner will be on the man’s right side.A double circle is required. Inner circle of women holding hands and outer circle of men holding hands.In our PE class we may not have enough girls and boys so this formation may be changed.
6Steps Inner circle: Walk left for 8 counts, with feet together on 8. Walk right for 8 counts, with feet together on 8.Basket: duck down and step back on counts 1-4, walk right 4 counts, feet together on 8.Walk left for 8 counts, feet together on 8.Walk in for 4 counts, let go and join hand with people on the sides and walk back for 4 counts, with feet together on 8. (now in 1 large circle)Walk in for 3 counts, bow on 4 and hold to the music, then begin the dance again.Outer Circle:Basket: lift arms up and over (partner on right diagonal) on counts 1-4, walk right 4 counts, feet together on 8.
