Keele and the Potteries Further Mathematics Centre Numerical Methods Numerical Methods In this module we will study algorithms for solving problems in continuous mathematics (as distinguished from discrete mathematics). Many of these problems arise from the calculus you will be studying in your core A-Level modules. As such this module will not only introduce you to a different style of mathematics but will also reinforce, and improve your understanding of, material in your A-Level.
