Paella Paella is an internationally well known dish of white rice, meat, seafood, beans and vegetables. Each neighborhood of the city has an organized group of people, Casal Faller, who work all year long holding fundraising parties and dinners, usually featuring this famous specialty. The Valencian people raise money to get equipment to build all the different kinds of floats they have every year.
Valencia, Spain Valencia is the Capital of the Spanish community of Valencia and its province. Its provinces are Alicante, Albacete, Cuenca, Teruel, Castellón, and the Mediterranean Sea. Its the third largest city in Spain and the 21 st largest in the European union. Its population contains about 797,654 people as of 2007. The Mayor of Valencia is Rita Barbera Nolla.
