Number Sense It is the understanding of what numbers are and how numbers relate to each other. Predict and extend repeating and growing patterns Model and describe sets Use boxes for missing numbers What would the fifth set of squares look like if the pattern continued? On Sunday there were three flowers, on Monday there were eight flowers, on Tuesday the there were 13 flowers. If this pattern continues show the number of flowers there would be for the rest of the week. Are these sets equivalent or not equivalent? How do you know? 13- = 7 = 12+10 14= 7+
