1 Some of Our Responsibilities To One Another
Based on our relationship to Christ, we must fulfill our responsibilities to one another

2 Introduction As Christians, we are uniquely related to Christ by obedient faith All the Lord’s commands stem from this primary relationship with Him He has commanded us not only in salvation, worship and work with a local church but also to serve one another To be faithful to the Lord we must fulfill all obligations to Him including duties to one another

3 Our Relationship To Christ
Gal 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. 1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.

4 Our Relationship To Christ Determines Our Relationship To One Another
Rom 12:3 For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith. Rom 12:4 For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function,

5 Our Relationship To Christ Determines Our Relationship To One Another
Rom 12:5 so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

6 The Lord Commands Us To Love One Another
Joh 13:34 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. Joh 13:35 "By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another."

7 The Lord Commands Us To Love One Another
1Jn 3:16 We know love by this, that He laid down His life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1Jn 3:17 But whoever has the world's goods, and sees his brother in need and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God abide in him? 1Jn 3:18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

8 The Lord Commands Us To Love One Another
1Co 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 1Co 13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 1Co 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 1Co 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

9 The Lord Commands Us To Forgive One Another
Eph 4:31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Eph 4:32 Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

10 The Lord Commands Us To Do Good To One Another
Gal 6:6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. Gal 6:8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

11 The Lord Commands Us To Do Good To One Another
Gal 6:9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. Gal 6:10 So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

12 The Lord Commands Us To Bear One Another’s Burdens
Gal 6:2 Bear one another's burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. Gal 6:3 For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Gal 6:4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another. Gal 6:5 For each one will bear his own load.

13 The Lord Commands Us To Bear One Another’s Burdens
Burdens can be almost anything that causes spiritual, emotional or physical distress Should listen to one another, pray about these burdens and encourage each other to continue serving the Lord

14 The Lord Commands Us To Restore One Another
Gal 6:1 Brethren, even if anyone is caught in any trespass, you who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; each one looking to yourself, so that you too will not be tempted.

15 The Lord Commands Us To Restore One Another
Humbly and gently restore others caught up in sin Restore means to mend or repair Do not wait until brethren are a to point of no return before we try to restore them back to the Lord

16 The Lord Commands Us To Restore One Another
Jas 5:16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much. Jas 5:17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months. Jas 5:18 Then he prayed again, and the sky poured rain and the earth produced its fruit.

17 The Lord Commands Us To Restore One Another
Jas 5:19 My brethren, if any among you strays from the truth and one turns him back, Jas 5:20 let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins.

18 The Lord Commands Us To Restore One Another
Act 8:22 "Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray the Lord that, if possible, the intention of your heart may be forgiven you.

19 The Lord Commands Us To Exhort or Encourage One Another
Heb 3:12 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. Heb 3:13 But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called "Today," so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

20 The Lord Commands Us To Exhort or Encourage One Another
Heb 3:14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end,

21 The Lord Commands Us To Exhort or Encourage One Another
Eph 4:15 but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ, Eph 4:25 Therefore, laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE of you WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another.

22 The Lord Commands Us To Exhort or Encourage One Another
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; Heb 10:24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, Heb 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

23 The Lord Commands Us To Admonish or Warn One Another
Rom 15:14 And concerning you, my brethren, I myself also am convinced that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge and able also to admonish one another. Col 1:28 We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

24 The Lord Commands Us To Admonish or Warn One Another
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

25 The Lord Commands Us To Be Hospitable To One Another
Rom 12:13 contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality. 1Pe 4:9 Be hospitable to one another without complaint.

26 The Lord Commands Us To Pray For One Another
Col 1:9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, Col 1:10 so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;

27 The Lord Commands Us To Pray For One Another
Col 1:11 strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously Col 1:12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.

28 The Lord Commands Us To Pray For One Another
Col 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of your number, a bondslave of Jesus Christ, sends you his greetings, always laboring earnestly for you in his prayers, that you may stand perfect and fully assured in all the will of God.
