They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.’ Acts 2:1-4  Peter’s life was revolutionised by the Holy Spirit  So can ours be!

14 ‘The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.’ John10:10

15 Heavenly Father, We ask that you will forgive us for any way that we have not hungered after the fullness of life that you have secured for us by the death and resurrection of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. Forgive us also when we have not sought after Jesus with all of our being. We repent of these sins and ask that you will set within us a heart that is not satisfied with second best. Lord, we determine not only to avail ourselves of all that you have laid hold of for us but we now make a decision to make ourselves wholly available to you. We ask this in and through the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
