WHAT IS A GRAPH A diagram that exhibits a relationship, often functional, between two sets of numbers as a set of points having coordinates determined by the relationship. Also called plot. A pictorial device, such as a pie chart or bar graph, used to illustrate quantitative relationships. Also called chart. Three popular graphs we are going to look at today are: 1. Bar 2. Line 3. Pictograph
In all senses also called pictogram. A picture representing a word or idea; a hieroglyph. A record in hieroglyphic symbols. A pictorial representation of numerical data or relationships, especially a graph, but having each value represented by a proportional number of pictures. = 2 Students
A type of graph that highlights trends by drawing connecting lines between data points.
This describes the meaning of colors and patterns used in the chart. = 2 Students
