School Bus Safety Riding the bus is lots of fun If rules are followed by everyone.
Bus Safety is as easy as “A-B-C.” A - always B - be C - careful
Always leave home on time. ZLook both ways before crossing. ZWait away from the street ZAvoid “horseplay.” ZWait until your bus stops.
Entering the bus aLine up and enter the bus single file. aWatch out for slick steps. aUse the hand rail. aWalk down to the nearest seat and sit down as quickly as possible.
Verse 2: The children are waiting for the bus, for the bus, They stand in line and never fuss, Waiting for the bus. Verse 3: They get on the bus in single file, single file, They greet the driver with a great big smile, Walking single file.

Getting Off The Bus èStand up only when the bus has stopped. èLet the people in front of you go first. èLeave space in case someone drops something or trips.. èMove quickly away from the bus.
Crossing the street safely aIf you cross the street, cross in front of the bus when no cars are coming. aWalk around the safety arm. aMake sure the driver sees you.
Danger Zones If you can touch the bus, you are too close.
