3. 3 SHARE Grants/Project Billing Insight An Insight is a comprehensive business strategy development program in which PeopleSoft experts work with Users to identify the critical objectives and challenges in a business process. Participating agencies included: NMED, EMNRD, HSD, DOH, DFA, PED, DWS, DHSEM, DPS, DOT, and CYFD.

4. 4 SHARE Grants/Project Findings Grants Module is not used consistently across the SoNM agencies and departments. Agency business process were not reviewed and modified after implementation. Agencies use many different processes outside of the Grants module to track and manage grants.

9. 9 DWS Grants – An Enterprise Project MOU between DWS and DoIT signed. All business process configuration in SHARE will be done within an enterprise framework. DWS will be one of the pilots for the Grants/Project initiative. Lessons learned at DWS will be used to create a cookbook to move forward.

10. 10 Next Steps DWS is presently moving forward with a DWS specific needs assessment. DWS is in negotiation with DLT/Oracle on Professional Services agreement. DWS Reed act funding, due to expire 6/30/10, is most likely being extended. Go Live 10/30/10.
