15 THE ASSEMBLY Composed of 12 members of the three provinces: 3 Presidents of the Executive Boards 3 Councilors 3 Presidents of the Legislative Assemblies 3 Council members DELIBERATE THE GUIDELINES AND THE BALANCE SHEET 2/3 majority, unanimity: admission of new members, delegation of EGTC‘s duties on one or more members, amendment of convention/statute and termination of the EGTC EGTC BODIES

17 THE EXECUTIVE BOARD Composed of the Presidents of the executive branches of the three territories (Platter, Durnwalder, Pacher) APPROVES THE WORK PROGRAMME AND THE TASKS TO CARRY OUT EGTC BODIES 2/3 majority and 100% presence; unanimity: yearly membership fee

22 Actualization of the operative programs in the field of the ETC (European Territorial Cooperation) Promotion of the EGTC’s interests in the field of the ETC towards the national and European institutions Joins organizations, associations and networks who are consistent with the EGTC’s objectives Development of other ETC’s activities with or without European funding EGTC DUTIES

23 The EGTC is currently carrying out: Direct projects (annual budget: 450,000€) Planning of the internal processes Communication Theme based projects Coordination of the organizational work for the joint session of the Assembly and the Executive Board, scheduled for October 10 th 2013 Detailed planning of the Work Programme 2014 Preparations for European programmes and projects ACTIVITIES

28 EGTC opens up a broad range of possibilities for cooperation EGTC should run high level initiatives and projects which can not be realised any better on a local level or bilaterally between regional administrations EGTC is a brand new reality in regional administration EGTC succeeds in projects which strong high level commitment on a political and administrative level BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
