11 11 New Licensing Scheme The Spyder Tool checks the license for features - As of Spyder Tool 4.X and later There are two Spyder features - SpyderProgrammable for the Lon Spyders - SpyderBACnetProgrammable for the BACnet Spyders Spyder features are only available on WEBS branded JACEs and Supervisor Engineering Demos - W-ENG-AX-DEMO

12 12 Spyder-ILC The Spyder-ILC is an individually licensed controller - Spyder-ILC controllers will accept a download from the Spyder Tool regardless of the brand of workstation/JACE - In other words, features within the license are ignored The Spyder-ILCs have the same OS number with an -ILC suffix - Example: PUL6438S-ILC, PVB6436AS-ILC, PVL4022AS-ILC 20% adder per Spyder-ILC for licensing fee - No one else in the industry offers a programmable controller that can be programmed on ANY AX front end! Like all Spyders, the ILC can only be sold to Honeywell ACS or ACI contractors
