2 The Doctrine of Salvation by Faith Alone Several religious groups believe and teach that one is saved by faith alone without any other conditions. Some would consistently believe faith only Others say faith only but still believe repentance is essential.

5 The Doctrine of Salvation by Faith Alone Those Who Believe This Contend: Passages that say one is saved by faith means faith alone (i.e. Rom. 5:1) If one is not saved by faith alone – then salvation is by works (i.e. Eph. 2:8-9)
