2 Citrox products are designed for;
highly effective anti-microbial, anti-fungal and anti-viral products, based on natural, not dangerous and food grade ingredients to be used to substitute conventional preservatives, disinfectants and other anti-microbial or fungicidal products to improve the freshness of product at the retail consumer level and to increase the shelf-life to prove an approach which is both safe and environmentally sustainable; and to utilise systems, which are simple, effective and predominantly “organic”

4 Composition of Citrox Products:
The main component of Citrox products is an Extract of Citrus Aurantium Amara – the immature fruits of the bitter-orange. The extraction is done with just water as extraction media. This extract consists of Polyphenols or Bioflavonoids which are activated with the aid of Organic Acids – mostly Citric Acid, Ascorbic Acid or Lactic Acid.

Mode of Antibacterial and Antiviral Action of Citrox in Decontamination process: -The Role of the Polyphenols- Mixed sized polyphenols associated with the “larger bioflavonoids” facilitating the water solubility and “smaller bioflavonoids” for killing a wide spectrum of bacteria and viruses. Complexing with; - bacterial cell wall - extracellular proteins - soluble proteins - inactivate microbial adhesions, enzymes and cell envelope transport proteins Prevent and Remove Biofilm Formation -The Role of the Organic Acids- Removal of ions(Ca ions in hard water) to promote the effectiveness of the Bioflavonoid. ProAlexin™ range is designed for agriculture to provide plant protection and improved nutrition by reducing the dependency on traditional agrochemicals(fertilizers and pesticides). ProVigoro™ range is designed for pathogen control, eliminate cross contamination, ensure hygienic handling, increase the immune system of the animals through drinking water and feed additives and on-site fogging.
