10 At school level this has meant the introduction of a double GCSE for 22 pupils in three schools. In addition to OCR Industrial Technology (Engineering) they also take OCR Systems and Control. 11 Setting up the course Nigel Sagar our D & T Inspector has worked with Havering schools as well as Barking and Dagenham to ensure the successful introduction of the course by the use of summer schools, regular meetings and INSET on PRODESKTOP. 12 At Warren we have created a separate area for CADCAM with improved ICT facilities including flat screen displays. Major equipment purchased for this area includes a Unimatics 3D router with a 4D machining head and a 25 watt laser cutter from Technology supplies. This has enabled our students to make products and components using a range of software such as 2D Design, Minicam, 3D Geocam and Galaad, as well as Prodesktop. 20 Industrial Technology Engineering :- Pupils develop workshop skills using metals and plastics. Pupils develop workshop skills using metals and plastics. They also develop designing skills and make effective use of CAD CAM. We have CNC Mills, CNC lathes and a Laser cutter.

25 Engineering - using CAD CAM to Design The pupils have used Prodesktop to model their designs. The pupils have used Prodesktop to model their designs.
