The MGV 130 system The system for mounting dental models into articulator without use of any plaster! (Minimal working height of articulator - 116mm)

2 Single parts of MGV 130 system
The MGV 130 system - upper part The setting options: ,F‘ - Fixed prosthetics ,S‘ - Sensing prosthetics Standard setting – position ,F‘ Plastering form Rubber former Metal plates The MGV 130 system - lower part Inserting plates – Modellsystem 2000* Key MGV 130 Inserting plates – Giroform* Tightening key Inserting plates – Accu-Trac* *Giroform is registered trademark of Amann Girrbach GmbH, Pforzheim, DE, *Accu-Trac is registered trademark of Coltene/Whaledent AG, 9450 Altstätten, CH, *Modellsystem 2000 is registered trademark of Baumann Dental GmbH, Keltern-Ellmendingen, DE

3 Operating procedure with MGV 130 system
The recommended height of the model is 30mm including the technology used Prepare a casting plate and insert little metal pad Pour plaster over and make a casting 1 2 3 Sand the model Prepare the articulator – the joint track is locked The upper portion of MGV 130 is mounted 4 5 6 The lower portion of MGV 130 is mounted Both upper and lower parts of MGV 130 are mounted in the articulator Set +1mm on the incisial rod 7 8 9

4 Incisor centre and interbuccal bump of tooth no. 6
Align the bottom model with the incisor point and the occlusal plane (using a rubber band). Incisor centre and interbuccal bump of tooth no. 6 Insert a suitable adapter to work with a tray Mount the bottom panel 10 11 12 Loosen lateral locking screw on the upper part of MGV 130 Tighten the lower part of MGV 130 Insert the model of the upper part 13 14 15 Loosen upper locking screw on the upper part of MGV 130 Use a suitable bite registration material Attach the upper model to fit the bite 16 17 18

5 All screws must be tighten gradually, first gently and then using greater force
Remove the bite registration material, return the incisial rod to the 0 position and check maximum contact using articulation paper First tighten the upper screw Then tighten the side screw 19 20 21 Insert the MGV 130 key. Blue with blue, red with red Adjust and tighten the MGV 130 key. It‘s best to tighten both screws simultaneously Remove both models and the transition plate 22 23 24 After repositioning the tooth models back to the MGV 130 system, the articulator is ready for further work The removed MGV 130 key has been adjusted to specific work

6 Operating procedure for change upper part of MGV 130 system from ,F‘ position to ,S‘ position
Displace the axis from the right side and slide the segment out of the arms Prepare the upper part of MGV 130 Unscrew the lateral screw and take out the pad 1 2 3 Insert the segment in between the arms, then insert the axis from the right side, fix the pad from the left side and screw in the lateral screw Loosen the upper screw and turn the segment into the “S” position Fasten the upper part of MGV 130 to the upper arm of the articulator 4 5 6
