17 How can I get great grades! Set a goal! What grade do you want?
Be in school! You cant learn if you’re not here! Being absent/tardy hurts your learning Always do your best. Be proud of your work. Ask for help if needed – don’t wait! You are responsible for making up any absent work and keeping track of your papers.

18 HOMEWORK! Yes, we will have homework! You will have reading, math, and spelling assignments Mondays through Thursdays. You are expected to read over the weekends. Your behavior can help or hurt your ‘s and other’s learning. Learn more by making good choices and earn some tickets! You will get a GREEN ticket to put in your pocket for just being here! If it stays green all day, you can exchange it for 2 bonus tickets. If you decide to make poor choices, you will need to exchange your green ticket for another ticket: First warning = change to YELLOW, lose 5 minutes of recess. Second warning = change to RED, conduct calendar signed, lose all your recess. Third warning = change to PURPLE, CC signed, lose recess, parents called, possible office referral. Conduct calendar signed outside the classroom = RED ticket and consequences. Missing or incomplete homework or classwork = PINK ticket and do it at recess!
