3 Location To have this job, you must live near a state or national park. Parks are fairly ubiquitous throughout the United States, so you can live almost anywhere. Salary The average yearly salary for a park ranger is $42,000 to $50,999 depending on their level of education and skill, the type of the park, and the location.

4 On The Job The job requires work both inside and outside in all conditions. It requires some physical labor. Some duties are – Enforcing park regulations – Maintaining park grounds – Assisting park visitors – Patrolling – Offering conservation and recreation activities
