PLAY AT LEAST ONE SPORTTHE AVERAGE GRADE POINT AVERAGE OF A LAKE PARK ATHLETE IS 4.25 ON A 5.0 SCALEOVER 40% OF OUR VARSITY LETTER WINNERS ACHIEVE ACADEMIC ALL- CONFERENCE.IN OF OUR VARSITY ATHLETIC TEAMS WERE RECOGNIZED BY THE ILLINOIS HIGH SCHOOL ASSOCIATION (IHSA) AS ACADEMIC ALL-STATE TEAMS.LAKE PARK HAS SOME OF THE FINESTATHLETIC FACILITIES IN THE STATE OF ILLINOISAND HOST NUMEROUS IHSA STATE SERIES EVENTS.LAKE PARK OFFERS 27 ATHLETIC PROGRAMSWITH 91 DIFFERENT LEVELS FOR STUDENTSTO PARTICIPATE.Need to check for new stats from Pete.
