The Benefits Increased transparency through DASH Increased choice and availability to debtors Regulations to improve payment distribution Creditors more involved in the process
Some Numbers Applications: 2273 DPP applications under new Regulations –3319 approved financial year 2010/11 –1910 approved financial year 2011/ joint applications joint applications approved joint applications rejected 130 applications with single debt - 73 applications approved - 67 applications rejected
Some Numbers Variations ( includes payment holidays ): 993 applications to vary a DPP –974 variations approved – 21 variations rejected Fair & Reasonable Tests : Approx 4300 applications where F&R carried out Approx 2700 applications approved following F&R test
