9 Paper Trays Loading the Manual Feed Tray 1.Loading the Manual Feed TrayOpen the Manual Feed (Bypass Tray) and fully extend the trayInsert the paper and adjust the guides so they are snuggly against the paper*Note the side that will be printed on is the face down side2.
10 Paper Trays Change the paper size for the Bypass Tray Press Menu and go to Paper Input and press “Enter#”Go to Bypass Size and press “Enter#”Choose paper size and press “Enter#”*Note that the paper cannot exceed a width of 8.5 inches
11 Paper Trays Loading paper in Tray 1 (Default Tray) Pull on the handle at the absolute bottom of the frontRemove the tray form the printer by lifting up as it is being pulled outOpen the width of the tray up all the way by holding the guides on the sides of the tray and moving them outwardSlide paper in from the back of the tray and tighten the paper guides snuggly against the paperReturn the tray to the bottom of the printer3.4.

13 Jam: Internal Path Fix1.If the jam does not come out easily, look at the lower right side and locate the letter A on the wall of the printerPull it down and remove the jamOpen the front coverLocate the jam under the Fuser Unit (Caution: HOT!)Slowly pull the jam out4.5.2. – 3.
14 Jam: Fuser Unit Fix Open the front cover CAUTION: Fuser is HOT!Open the front coverLift the left and right “B1” blue levers on the fuserRemove Jam126.96.36.199.If the jam does not come out easily, pull “B2” down.Remove Jam5.
15 Jam: Paper Tray Fix Slowly pull the paper tray out Remove Jam 1.2.Slowly pull the paper tray outRemove JamOpen the front cover and then close the front cover to reset the jam condition3.
