Description Of What You Are Looking For From Other Schools; We, students of grade 6 th -A of Educational Centre 1497 decided to learn ecological issue of a city. We asked our friends from other countries to give some information about ecological problems in their cities. We learnt all information we got and here are the results of our investigation.
What are the environmental problems of the place where you live? Here is comparative analysis of Constanta(Romania) and Washington, DC(The USA)
Is litter a problem in your city? Is it recycled? There are some ways of work with waste, they are called: The 3Rs Select products with the least wasteful packaging. Buy products made of recycled materials. Reuse bags, containers, papers, boxes and other items or pass them on those who could use them too. Remember: Lots of products can be recycled( like cans.bottles, paper ) Buy products that can be recycled as they take less energy than making products from brand new materials. Besides, some recycled products can be made into other goods.
Recycling Ecopoints Green ecopoint is for glass. Yellow ecopoint is for plastic and metal. Blue ecopoint is for paper and cardboard
Useful things In Portugal there is one more R of re-educate people. They did a lot of things using cardboard and cloth.
Energy sources at home In Portugal people use: Solar energy, with the help of solar panels. Wind energy
