3-Turn off lights in any room not being used.-Turn off fluorescentlights and removesits starter orbulb when it startsto blink.
4-Clean lamps or bulbs regularly to get more light.Dirt diminishes illuminationby as much as 50%.-Save on lighting energy throughdecorating. Light colorsfor walls, rugs, draperies andupholstery reflect lightand therefore reduce the amountof artificial light required.
5-Gas discharge lamps (mercury, fluorescent, or sodium) are more efficient than incandescent lamps. -Light-zone your home. Concentratelighting in reading and working areasand where it’s needed for safety.
6-Use lamp withcorrect voltage.-Change ballast when fluorescent lights continue to blink even when switched off.
