P A N O S (Ultraviolet B Phototherapy Device) Semyeong Biotech
Company Introduction We, Semyeong Biotech, manufacture Panos, a UV-B lamp. Semyong Biotech was established under the philosophical background of lighting up the world, enhancing the human health, and keeping the world's environment free from pollution. Since the year of 2004 when it was first developed to be used in clinics and hospitals, Panos has been generally supplied to dermatologic clinics and oriental medical clinics. In 2010, Panos has been released to be exported to foreign countries. Panos, a UVB lamp, has gone through a special treatment through which it can project UV-B rays in the safest wavelength range from 280nm to 320nm with no harm to human body. Semyeong Biotech will put on quite a new aspect of specializing in medical UV-related instruments by developing better health care instruments concerning UV-B rays, which have a far-reaching use for clinical trials and other R&D efforts.

What is Panos? Panos, a UV-B projecting lamp, is a health care instrument which specially processes the UV-B(280nm~320nm) light, a so- called healthy light or life light, and projects it onto the human body, so that it creates vitamin D3 in the body and enhances immunity. What is Panos?
A Final Paper of Clinical Trials Title: A Study of Osteogenesis through UV Medical Instruments Usefulness as medical instruments for osteoporosis through serological and radiological examination Test Organization: Orthopedics of Kyungpook National University Hospital and (Daegu) Catholic University Hospital The Useful Effects of UV-B Medical Care on Atopic Dermatitis - Korean Dermatological Association 1999:37(10):1512-1514 - Presented by Department of Dermatology, Eulji General Hospital and Medical College - The occurrence and safety of electromagnetic waves met the Standards of Preventing Electromagnetic Waves, Notification No. 2000-79 of the Ministry of Information and Communication. Their electrical and mechanical safety also met the standards of Korea Food and Drug Administration. - Presented by Department of Physical Therapy, Daegu University in the 2006 Journal of Korea Physical Society A Study of the Effects of UV-B rays on the Concentration of Calcium, Vitamin D3, and Total Cholesterol in the Blood of Menopausal Women - Both UV-B group and control group, after UVB rays being projected, showed a significantly meaningful increase in the concentration of calcium in the blood. - Both UV-B group and control group, after UVB rays being projected, showed a significantly meaningful increase in the concentration of vitamin-D3 in the blood. - Both UV-B group and control group, after UVB rays being projected, showed a significantly meaningful increase in the concentration of total cholesterol in the blood.
Nov. 11, 2008 - 3 days after the 1st projection in Nov. 8th, 2008 Lichen got peeled off and raised. 1 week after being projected Lichen got peeled off and removed. 2 weeks after being projected. Bare skin came up after lichen got peeled off. Progress Process of Atopic Dermatitis Projection Process for Bedsores (Mar. 2010) Mar. 22nd, 2010 (1st projection) Apr. 2nd, 2010 (3rd projection) Apr. 12th, 2010 (5th projection) Apr. 16th, 2010 (6th projection) Experience case
How to Use - It is proper to project two or three times per week. - Keep a proper distance of around 50 ~ 70 cm from the UV-B lamp while projecting. - Project UV-B rays directly onto the skin needing to be cared such as atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, leukoderma, etc. - Project UV-B rays onto the bare abdomen after taking off clothes in order to create vitamin D3. - It is recommended to project UV-B rays 5 minutes for below 10 year olds, 10 minutes for less than 20 year olds, and 20 minutes for adults on the basis of 1st lamp. - Apply UV-B lamps in the order of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd lamp. -How to Use-
