2. Car Wash OPORD Brief 1. Situation: On order 172 nd Chemical Company conducts a car wash IOT raise money for Company funds. a.Weather: TBD b.Terrain: City 2. Mission: 172nd Chemical Company will conduct a car wash to raise money for the company funds

Car Wash OPORD Brief 3.EXECUTION: This car wash will be executed in three phases: Phase I: Planning and preparation Phase II: Site set up and execution of the car wash Phase III: Sites break down and AAR The Company will be broken down into two groups: a. HQ, 3 rd Plt and half of 1 st Plt will run the car wash in McDonalds (Washington St. and West 6 th St./JC). HQ will have the morning shift (0900-1200). 3 rd Plt will have the afternoon shift (1200-1500). b. Maintenance and 2 nd Plt will run the car wash in Auto Zone (Washington St. and East 6 th St.) 2 nd Plt will have the morning shift (0900- 1200 and Maintenance will have the afternoon shift (1200-1500). c. 1 st Platoon will be split up between the 2 car wash sites and will assist the other platoons throughout the day. NOTE: Platoons OIC/NCOICs need to ensure their personnel are at the company during their pick up times IOT be transported to the car wash sites.

Headquarters: McDonalds car wash (0900-1200) a) Provide one Soldier to draw signs (See Annex A) b) Provide one Soldier to be the cashier from 0900-1200 hrs c) Provide one NCO to be the shift NCOIC d) Provide supplies to run the car wash (hoses, soap, sponges, towels, sunscreen, Gatorade, buckets, and supplies to make all the signs) e) Provide Soldiers to conduct the car wash during your shift NOTE: Platoons OIC/NCOICs need to ensure their personnel are at the company during their pick up times IOT be transported to the car wash sites.

Car Wash OPORD Brief Maintenance: Auto Zone car wash (1200-1500) a) Provide two Soldiers to draw signs (See Annex A) b) Provide one Soldier to be the cashier from 1200-1500 hrs c) Provide one NCO to be the shift NCOIC d)Provide Soldiers to conduct the car wash during your shift NOTE: Platoons OIC/NCOICs need to ensure their personnel are at the company during their pick up times IOT be transported to the car wash sites.

Car Wash OPORD Brief 1st Platoon: McDonalds and Auto Zone car washes a) Provide four personnel to be part of the CLS Teams (See Annex A). b) Provide one NCOIC to link up with McDonalds and Auto Zone managers and to set up/break down the sites (Annex A).. c) Provide one NCO to be in charge of the grill (See Annex A). d) Ensure all coordination are made and all supply needed are in place. e) Ensure transportation is provided for Soldiers who cant drive f) Provide Soldiers to support the entire duration of the car wash NOTE: Platoons OIC/NCOICs need to ensure their personnel are at the company during their pick up times IOT be transported to the car wash sites.

Car Wash OPORD Brief 2nd Platoon: Auto Zone car wash (0900-1200) a) Provide one Soldier to be the cashier from 0900-1200 hrs b) Provide one NCO to be the shift NCOIC (See Annex A) c) Provide Soldiers to conduct the car wash during your shift NOTE: Platoons OIC/NCOICs need to ensure their personnel are at the company during their pick up times IOT be transported to the car wash sites.

Car Wash OPORD Brief 3rd Platoon: McDonalds car wash (1200-1500) a) Provide one Soldier to be the cashier from 1200-1500 hrs b) Provide one NCO to be the shift NCOIC (See Annex A) c) Provide Soldiers to conduct the car wash during your shift d) Provide one Soldier to draw signs (See Annex A) NOTE: Platoons OIC/NCOICs need to ensure their personnel are at the company during their pick up times IOT be transported to the car wash sites.

Car Wash OPORD Brief Timeline: a) 0740: Representatives from 1st Plt link up with McDonalds manager (Ms. Sheena) and Auto Zone manager (Mr. Dan) b) 0815: Sgt S and PFC G pick up personnel from the company parking lot and transport them to the car wash sites. c) 0845: the first shift will arrive at the site; accountability is taken. d) 0850: shift is broken up into teams e) 0900: the carwash officially begins f) 1100: the second shift is picked up from the company and accountability is taken g) 1150: shift is broken down into teams h) 1200: second shift begins i) 1500: start clean up and brake down of the site j) 1600: the carwash has officially ended 2. Uniform: tasteful/appropriate attire and sunscreen.

10. Car Wash OPORD Brief 4. SERVICE SUPPORT. The Supply section will provide two TMPs to transport Soldiers to and from the car wash sites. Supply will provide any additional materials (Hoses, sponges, soap, buckets, towels, Gatorade powder, cups, sunscreen, project boards, markers, and posters) needed to run the car wash.
