Timeline of Activities Nov/Dec2009 Survey the community January 2010 Purchase Laptops/ Meet with staff/ Contact community partners/ Recruit volunteers/ February 2010 Schedule classes through evanced May 2010 In-house classes begin April 2010 Advertise March 2010 Develop training materials/ satisfaction survey July 2010 Laptops arrive/ Community laptop classes begin!
Project Outputs – What was produced? Acquired five laptops for mobile instruction. Recruited and trained six community volunteers. Eighteen sessions were held over a period of three months. Developed curriculum for eight classes (goal was five). 111 community members were trained!
Measuring Project Success 50% applied for at least two jobs online 100% use a computer 1x/ month 100% shared a photo 66% felt online consumer confidence. 100% set up an email account.
