As the portable electronics market moves to computation-intensive products like cellular telephones with bio-processing capabilities, low-power design becomes critical, and the existing reconfigurable radio and networks on chip architecture and methodologies can be leveraged to create new platform solutions for the next-generation mobile phones. With computer-aided design tools such as Convergence and Modelism, important applications are programmed with VERILOG and verified on the SoC platform.
