The health care industry is an aggregation of sectors within the economic system that provides goods and services to treat patients with curative, preventive, rehabilitative, and palliative care. The modern health care industry is divided into many sectors and depends on interdisciplinary teams of trained professionals and paraprofessionals to meet health needs of individuals and populations. The Economic deprivation in a large segment of population results in poor access to health care. India faces high burden of disease because of lack of environmental sanitation and safe drinking water, under- nutrition, poor living conditions, and limited access to preventive and curative health care services. Lack of education, gender inequality and explosive growth of population also contribute to increasing burden of disease. India also faces the twin epidemic of continuing/emerging infectious diseases as well as chronic degenerative diseases From the survey report of Human Development Index (HDI), India hold 136 th rank. HealthCare is a globally growing industry with a growth rate of 23 percent. Hospital is a fast– changing Techno- savy industry. 17/78

Neurology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of all categories of conditions and disease involving the central and peripheral nervous system; or equivalently, the autonomic nervous systems and the somatic nervous systems, including their coverings, blood vessels, and all effectors tissue, such as muscle. Neurology includes neurology medicine and Nero surgery departments. In the treatment of stroke s department of neurology plays a vital role. 46/78

This is a crucial department as the department of surgery is associated to all other departments. Hence it is also a major department in the hospital. Full time experts and assistance are proposed here. This department also provided with moderate equipments and theatre facilities. Moderate operation theatre with facilities forms the main part of this department presently. 47/78

General medicine is the prime department in our hospital. The patients with many basic symptoms approach a physician who are cared and or redirected to the concerned departments. Physicians of Internal Medicine, Metabolic Disorders like-Diabetes, Thyroid disorders,Obisity,Neurology,Endocrine disorder etc. Full time Senior doctors and junior doctors to assist them are proposed. 48/78

It deals specifically with the Catheter- based treatment of heart diseases. The majority of interventional cardiology procedures are performed in the cardiovascular (heart, veins and arteries) system. These procedures usually involve the insertion of a catheter (hollow tube) in to the femoral artery or vascular area through the use of real time x-ray. Advantages Avoidance of the scars and pain Avoidance long post-operative recovery Less risk of infection Facilities Available: Angiogram Angioplasty Rotablation Defibrillation Interventional Cardiology procedures Balloon Angioplasty Carotid stents and Stroke Intervention Congenital Heart Defect Connection Fractional Flow Reserve(FFR) Intracoronary Stenting Intravascular Ultrasound Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators(ICDS) Pacemaker Insertion Peripheral Arterial Disease(PAD)Invention Peripheral Atherectomy 49/78

This is the field of medicine involved in surgical treatment of diseases affecting organs inside the thorax (the chest)generally treatment of conditions of the heart (heart disease) and lungs (lung disease);unlike that of in the US and UK. Cardiac surgery (involving the heart and great thoracic organ)are separate surgical specialties, except in the USA, the UK, Australia and New Zealand where they are frequently grouped together. So the surgeon will receive a broader experience in both fields before they develop their special interest in certain parts of the specialty. Advantages Less postoperative pain. Fewer operative complications. 50/78

It deals with the medical treatment of the diseases of the kidneys, ureter and urinary bladder. It concerns the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, including electrolyte disturbances and hypertension, and the care of those requiring renal replacement therapy, including dialysis and renal transplant patients. Many diseases affecting the kidney are systemic disorders not limited to the organ itself, and may require special treatment. Full time nephrologists with junior doctors will ensure the smooth functioning of the department. Kidney Patients and Dialysis cases are on the raise per day owing to the life style, and different causes like metabolic disorder, pollutions etc. So we are keen to have the department of Nephrology. 51/78

This department is a medical specialty that employs the use of imaging to both diagnose and treat disease visualized within the human body. Radiologists use an array of imaging technologies such as X-ray radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine, positron emission tomography(PET) and magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) to diagnose or treat diseases. Radiologists are big boss in cardio surgery decisions. They give vital comments in scanning to diagnose and to decide upon surgery. Without the expertise conclusions of the radiologist CT as well as MRI scan results will not bring out correct assumptions. 52/78

Anesthesia traditionally meant the condition of having sensation (including the feeling of pain) blocked or temporarily taken away. It is a pharmacologically induced and reversible state of amnesia, analgesia, loss of responsiveness, loss of skeletal muscle reflexes, decreased stress response, or all of these simultaneously. It crucial to all surgery; even a dialysis patient needs anesthesia during incision in vein. Hence without this department, the major departments cannot function on their own. 53/78

Focuses on the surgical and medical diseases of the male and female urinary tract system and the male reproductive organs. The organs under the domain of urology include the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate and penis). Urology has traditionally been on the cutting-edge of surgical technology in the field of medicine. Urologists are well-trained in minimally-invasive techniques, employing real- time ultrasound guidance, fiber-optic endoscopic equipment, and various lasers in the treatment of multiple benign and malignant conditions. 54/78

Focused on the digestive system and its disorders. Diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract, which include the organs from mouth to anus, along the alimentary canal, are the focus of this specialty. Play a vital role in cardiac treatment. It specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the digestive tract and liver. It needs well experienced gastro enterologist and high cost equipments for investigation. We have proposed full time experts and assistants for its smooth functioning. 55/78

Focus on the full spectrum of dermatologic disease, in addition to emphazing the importance of cutaneous signs of internal disease. It is a unique specialty with both medical and surgical aspects. A dermatologist takes care of diseases, in the widest sense, and some cosmetic problems of the skin, scalp, hair, and nails. Most of the high value powerful medicine will create skin problems and hence the consultation of a dermatologist will become essential. 56/78

The department of Obstetrics & Gynecology looks after only women patients. Obstetrics deals with pregnancy and child birth. An obstetrician gives pre pregnancy counseling, looks after the woman and her baby during pregnancy, helps with child birth and looks after the woman for six weeks after delivery. A gynecologist looks after women with diseases of the reproductive system. These include period problems, infections, benign tumors like fibroids and ovarian cysts and cancers. This department is proposed to function with full time doctors. Fully fledged department with inpatients are proposed. Cont.. 57/78

Infertility is a growing bane of modern society than a mere concern or problem to face. Focuses on female and male infertility and is pursuing research on clinical and molecular aspects of frequently encountered conditions viz. polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS); premature ovarian failure (POF); endometriosis; severe oligoasthenozoospermia and non-obstructive azoospermia to develop improved diagnostic and therapeutic tools. Genes associated with POF (menopause before the age of 40 years) are being screened for mutations in affected women and their family members. This will help to counsel individuals, genetically predisposed to POF and still menstruating, for adoption of measures to preserve their ovarian function. The department is also investigating the causes of low sperm count using state-of-art molecular methodologies. Fully fledged department with inpatients are proposed for IEU,ECSE etc. besides the full fledged facility for gynecology and Obstetrics. 58/78

This is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. This offers diagnostic and therapeutic services for the management of disorders of bones, joints and associated structures. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders. The department is supported by a radiological suite with X-ray, imaging, physiotherapy and rehabilitation services are available to restore the health and functional abilities of people after spinal cord disorders and injuries, amputation, joint replacement, sports injuries, fractures and ligament injuries. 59/78

Deals with the medical care of infants, children, and adolescents, and the age limit usually ranges from birth up to 18 Full time doctors along with all required facilities to handle pediatric problems. Neonatal department with separate ICU and specialist doctors are proposed. 60/78

This department deals with the anatomy, physiology and diseases of the eye. An ophthalmologist is a specialist in medical and surgical eye problems. Since ophthalmologists perform operations on eyes, they are both surgical and medical specialists. This department will have expert doctors hence patients can be admitted and specialist treatment can be provided 61/78

This department specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the head and neck. Often treat children with persistent ear infections, hearing problems, cleft lip and other congenital abnormalities.
