1 Responsibilities to our fellow man

2 Christianity – A Growth Process
When we are baptized, we are raised to walk in newness of life. Romans 6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. We are babes in Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. Hebrews 5:13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.

3 Christianity – A Growth Process
We must desire the pure milk of the word to grow. 1 Peter 2:1-2 Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, We must grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord. 2 Peter 3:18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

4 Christianity – A Growth Process
One area in which we must exhibit growth is in our knowledge of and carrying out of our responsibilities to our fellow man. Matthew 22:34-40 Agapao – love that embraces the judgment and deliberate assent of the will as a matter of principle, duty and propriety.

Pure religion is to visit widows and orphans in their trouble. James 1:27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. This is an individual responsibility – notice the language of the passages No authority for the church to help those outside the body of Christ
