Common Conversions Being able to use fractions, decimals and percents interchangeably

2
Rational numbers (decimals, fractions, and percents) What am I Learning Today? How will I show that I learned it? To understand and use rational numbers to convert between fractions, decimals, and percents.

3
What exactly is a percent? You can remember that percent means per hundred. For example, 8% means 8 per hundred, or 8 out of 100. Most states charge sales tax on items you purchase. Sales tax is a percent of the items price. A percent is a ratio of a number to 100.
